NSS Events that Inspire Change

Students at Podhigai actively engage in NSS to develop social awareness and contribute meaningfully to society.

Blood Donation

Conducted in collaboration with leading hospitals and healthcare organizations, our blood donation camps are organized at regular intervals on campus. These drives serve as life-saving missions, teaching students the importance of humanitarian service and medical responsibility. NSS volunteers contribute by donating blood, coordinating the events, and promoting awareness campaigns across the campus. The initiative fosters compassion, unity, and a strong commitment to the well-being of others—especially during emergencies and shortage periods.

Tree Plantation

The NSS team takes a proactive role in organizing large-scale tree plantation drives both within the college premises and in surrounding villages. Students are involved in every stage—from sourcing saplings and preparing soil beds to planting and maintaining the trees. These efforts help combat environmental degradation, raise awareness about climate change, and enhance the green cover of the region.
